Belle was found in Hazard, Kentucky with devastating injuries—her arm torn off, her body going into shock, and her life hanging by a thread. Through a life-saving partnership between Kentucky River Regional Animal Shelter and Da Vinci’s Dream Animal Rescue, she was rushed into emergency care and underwent amputation to survive. What happened in the next 24 hours is nothing short of incredible. While she’s not completely out of the woods yet, Belle’s strength is giving us hope that she just might make it.
