Meet Percy – A Gentle Spirit with a Tender Heart
Percy is a sweet, soulful boy who’s around 1 year old. Despite being blind, he navigates the world with quiet courage and a gentle curiosity. One of his most endearing habits is gently touching your face with his nose, as if to say, “I’m here, and I trust you.”
New surroundings and unfamiliar people can feel overwhelming for Percy, but with time, patience, and a loving environment, he begins to open up and show his soft, affectionate nature. He thrives with routine, reassurance, and calm voices that guide him through his day.
Percy shares a deep bond with his buddy Benny, and we would love to see them adopted together. Benny helps Percy feel more secure and confident, and their companionship brings out the best in each other.
Percy would do best in a quiet, compassionate home with adopters willing to help him feel safe and loved. With kindness and consistency, this gentle boy will blossom into the most devoted of companions.
Medical Note: Percy is completely blind. One of his eyes was previously damaged—though we don’t know how—and the other is a very light blue and appears to have no vision. However, Percy responds well to sound and can adjust to new environments with gentle guidance.
