Meet Leonie – The Playful Spirit Learning to Trust
Leonie is an 8-year-old, 10 lb sweetheart who is still learning that people can be safe and kind. While she may be cautious with humans at first, she absolutely lights up around other small dogs. Energetic and playful, she loves to romp, wrestle, and enjoy the companionship of her canine friends.
Because she finds so much comfort in doggy companionship, Leonie would do best in a home with another social dog to help show her the ropes and guide her as she continues to grow in confidence. With a patient and loving home, she will slowly learn that people can also be a source of love and kindness.
This little girl is truly special—playful, social with dogs, and just waiting for the right family to help her blossom into her best self. With time, patience, and gentle care, Leonie will make a wonderful companion.
