Aster is a 6-year-old sweetheart who is still finding his confidence with people. While he can be reserved at first, his love for other dogs shines through—he truly thrives in the company of canine friends. Because of this, Aster will do best in a home with another small, social dog who can help guide him, show him the ropes, and teach him that people can be kind and safe.
He does well on leash and enjoys being out and about, especially when he feels secure. With patience, understanding, and a calm home, Aster will continue to come out of his shell and reveal the wonderful companion he’s meant to be.
This gentle little boy needs a family willing to give him time, love, and the reassurance he craves. With the right support, Aster will blossom into a loyal, loving companion who will forever be grateful to the people who gave him a chance.
