Poppy is a beautiful Bernese Mountain Dog around 6 years old with a calm, tender spirit and a heart full of quiet love. This gentle giant is sweet and kind, though she can be a bit timid, especially in new situations or around new people. Since coming into our care, Poppy has been steadily coming out of her shell and gaining confidence each day.
She is gentle on leash but still a little nervous, and a patient, understanding home will help her continue to feel safe and secure. Poppy does wonderfully with other dogs and would do best in a home with another friendly dog to help guide her and encourage her confidence. She especially enjoys the companionship of Polly, and the two get along beautifully.
Poppy enjoys gentle affection, calm attention, and tasty treats, which help her feel comfortable and reassured. She is a sweet, loving girl who will thrive in a quiet, nurturing home ready to support her as she continues to blossom.
